The 1980s brought dresses made of Rayon or a blend with large shoulder pads: an inch wide and an inch thick; with plastic beads and sequins.

This one is a (red dress) with a fringe on the bottom, wide shoulder pads at the top, with sheer sleeves, with all plastic beads and sequins. Very beautiful, you wear it well.

This is the green dress, .. beads, thousands of beads on that dress, heavy, about ten pounds. (narrator: The beaded dresses I had from the 1920s weighed about 45 pounds, they are very heavy to wear, and very delicate.)
