The frieght room of the Midland Continental Railroad Wimbledon Depot. Lots of history everywhere you look. This scrapbook was very interesting, unfortunately there are no photos of the Sydney Depot.

Little by little, the Midland Continental Railroad, was able to modernize and improve its rolling stock. Secondhand locomotives gave way to newer equipment, and steam engines yielded to diesel. A policy of renting, rather than purchasing some of its freight cars enable the railroad to adjust to increases and decreases in traffic needs.
