1930s navy blue two piece suit, man-made materials: Rayon (delicate), acetates stringy; so blended with cotton. Hat ringed with rhinestones.
Clare, my (narrator's)granddaughter, models a 1930s Rayon/Acetate blend dress with puffy sleeves- a throw back to turn-of-the-century.
A late 1920s Raccoon coat. Worn by college men in roaring twenties, while driving in Henry Ford's model T. Straw hats called boaters and white spats over their shoes were also the fashion.
