All pre-departure checks were completed and Pacific Princess was ready to sail. Lines were let go at 20:58, and the vessel set a series of easterly course inside the Venice channel crossed the wonderful Piazza San Marco on our port side. At 21:54 our River Pilot was away and the vessel proceeded with a easterly course crossing the breakwater (Porto di Lido) with a final southerly course toward Split.
