The 25-40 model 'X' was a very popular size when it began coming off the Rumely line in 1928. It was made until 1930 & total production equaled 2400 units. Out of that total 271 tractors survived. That makes a 11.29% of the total production known to exist today. In Nebraska Tractor Test #143 the 25-40 put out 37.8 HP on the drawbar & 50.26 HP on the belt with its heavy duty, kerosene, two cylinder, 6 13/16 inch bore, 8 1/4 inch stroke engine operating at 700-725 RPM with total tractor weight of 9,440 lbs. -https://rumelypull.tripod.com/Products/Oilpull/X.html
