This B-25 'Mitchell' is a World War II medium bomber. Gerry Beck flew this aircraft from Rockville TX to Wahpeton ND on 2/3/1984. He never got around to restoring it. It was towed to Fargo last year after Beck died in a flying accident. It is on display at the Fargo Air Museum, in a building that carries his name in tribute.

quot; Both Beck, who runs Tri-state Aviation at the airport and several friends worked the last half of January in Texas, restoring the 40 year old medium bomber from a no flying condition to being an airworthy craft once again. Missing needed parts, were either cannibalized from other aircraft, purchased if necessary or manufactured. Even so, the cockpit has only a minimum of instruments. There are about as many open spaces for flight instruments as there are working units.quot; -Fargo Forum, 2/4/1984 page A1
