Huber manufacturing bought the patent rights to the Van Duzen gasoline engine in 1898. The one that powered Froehlich's 1892 tractor. They made 30 tractors then took a break until 1911. Huber's new tractors were powered with a 2-cylinder horizontally opposed engine.
