Clayton Engelstad purchased it from Mr. Bob Grube, of Wallhalla, ND. Mr. Grube had bought it in Montana with the plan to resell it to a farmer/restorer in Minnesota who likes Molines. (who also had a bad case of the yellow fever.)
Clayton Engelstad started working for Jerry Peterson, a Minneapolis-Moline dealer, in 1950. He was the shop foreman at the age of 17. The reason he was foreman so early? Only one working in the shop.

He went on to farm with several Molines and restored 30+ later in life.
