NDANG 'Jet Letter' May 1972
25th Year Reunion
Special efforts are being made to try and secure as large a turn-out as possible of former members of the NDANG for our special 2-day program, Aug. 4-5, highlighting this unit's 25th Anniversary year.

Maj. Stanley I. Gifford of Fargo, supply operations officer, and the 7-man Anniversary Program Committee he heads has placed particular emphasis throughout their months of work to date on trying to make the reunion aspect as meaningful as possible.

As large a turn-out of prior members as well as current members is vital for a successful reunion so everyone is urged to save these two dates for fun at the NDANG Base at Hector Airport and to spread the word to any prior members you know.

A major feature of this year's program will be special recognition by the NDANG of services rendered North Dakota by her congressional delegation.
The delegation, headed by Senator Milton Young, includes Senator Quentin Burdick, Congressman Mark Andrews and Congressman Arthur Link.

Recognized as our Distinguished Guest of Honor for his 27 years of service to the nation, Senator Young is tentatively scheduled to speak briefly at an awards ceremony at the NDANG Base that afternoon.

Besides a major open house program, set for 10 a. m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 5, other key attractions planned are:a flying show by the famed Navy demonstration team, the Blue Angels, at 2 p.m. Aug. 4; a reception honoring former members at 7 p.m. Aug. 4, and a dance in the main hangar at 1 p.m. Aug. 5.
