f06 F-15A Eagle tail engines
The Eagle's initial versions were the F-15A single-seat variant and F-15B twin-seat variant. These versions would be powered by two new Pratt & Whitney F100 engines to achieve a combat thrust-to-weight ratio in excess of 1:1 allowing it to accelerate vertically.
