The NDSU Bison take on the Georgia Southern University Eagles in the BCS semi-finals. Georgia looked good with their unstoppable running game. However the NDSU coaching staff figured out a plan and the Bison executed flawlessly. Final score Bison 35: the Eagles 7. What I found surprising is Brock Jensen had the flu- the Stanford Medical staff were pumping fluids into him at half-time and Brock had not ate in 18 hours. He wasn't the only Bison with the flu. But it didn't seem to slow the team down at all. The Fargodome was as loud as it has ever been. Even with ear plugs, which I put in during the first quarter. The crowd was also color coordinated with each section asked to wear either green or gold. Ours was a green section so I had to dig deep into my wardrobe for a green Bison basketball shirt and dad's green football hat. Sean and Tim were quiet, but Suzanne, Clare and I made up for it.
