The Vought F4U Corsair features six .50 (12.7 mm) M2 Browning machine guns. The 2,300 rounds carried by the Corsair gave just under 30 seconds of fire from each gun, which, fired in three to six-second bursts, made the F4U a devastating weapon against aircraft, ground targets, and even ships.
