Behind two powerful Pratt & Whitney J57 turbojets engines and under the 'T' Tail of the NDANG, McDonnell F-101 Voodoo supersonic jet fighter. Extensively modified versions were produced as an all-weather interceptor aircraft, serving with the Air Defense Command, and the Air National Guard.
