Spring 2024, one of my first outdoor projects of the year, I shoveled/screened all the rock about three feet from the edgers. I used dad's handmade screen to remove all the dirt that had accumulated over 40+ years. I put down new vegetation barrier, reset the edgers and then shoveled/raked the rock back into place. I got about half-way down. I hope to continue in the Spring of 2025.
