This is the radio compartment (port side looking forward) showing the radio operator's seat, desk and radio. Additional radio equipment is mounted on the starboard rear firewall in the radio compartment. The view is looking toward the front of the plane and the bomb bay.
The radio compartment is equipped with one .50-cal. machine gun.
The radio compartment is aft of the bomb bay section, and is reached from the flight deck by a catwalk through the bomb bay.
