1994 Velocity
Kirk and Diane Lindberg of Inner Grove Heights, MN donated their Velocity: a 1994 fixed gear aircraft to the museum on December 30, 2012. The aircraft took approximately three years and 3,000 man hours to build. Lindberg bought the kit from the Florida manufacture Velocity Aircraft Inc. The generic term for the design of the distinctive-looking plane is canard, which refers to the small wing in the front. It is also known as a pusher because of the engine in the rear. The Velocity cruises at 190 mph and has a range of about 900 miles.
