B-25J the last production model of the B-25, often called a cross between the B-25C and the B-25H, had a transparent nose. Most of its 12 machine guns were forward-facing for strafing missions. The North American B-25J Mitchell "Yellow Rose" is one of the over 11,000 B-25s built during WWII. (4,318 J-models) There are only twenty-seven restored and flying in the United States at this time.
