The T-38A 'Talon' 60-0593 was delivered by truck to March Field Museum from Sheppard AFB in 1991. This aircraft is on loan from the USAF. (There is a B-52D 'Stratofortress', F-86 'Sabre', F-100 'Super Sabre', and other aircraft behind it.)

Back in the 103¡F heat, the old airplanes are stored in the desert. They range from WWII bombers (B-17 & B29) to cargo planes to Century Series fighters to modern fighters to the spy planes (SR71 & U-2) to one-of-a-kind test planes. No sooner do we get outside than an announcement was made to get back on the bus.
