Vought F-4U-4 'Corsair' #310 Navy VF 42 NX72378, Bu.97388.
This was the second to last built at the Stratford, CT plant (prior to Vought-Sikorsky moving to Dallas, TX). It was flown frequently by the late Gerald Beck of Wahpeton, ND. The plane, formerly a Honduran fighter (FAH 610), was salvaged from the country by Earl Ware in 1981 and later sold to Mr. Beck who restored it over approximately a decade's time. [WikiCommons]
