Operating Instructions. Door shall be fully closed with latch before lock pins are extended or retracted. Latch lever and ratchet handle must be positioned vertically down prior to swinging door open or closed. Insert the latch lever in the strike recess only when the door is motionless. Approx. 40 lbs applied to the ratchet handle is rqd. to fully seat the door.
Warning. Keep hands clear of latch during door opening or closing.
