Dall's Sheep - Ovis Dalli, Also called the quot;Thinhornquot; or the quot;Stone Sheepquot;

Dall's sheep eat grasses and woody plants in the Rocky Mountain areas of Alaska, the NW Territories and the British Columbia. The ram's horns grow in rings of up to 3 feet long. The ewes grow slender spikes of less than 15 inches.

Fun Fact: In late fall rival rams have butting contests. The clash of their horns can be heard more than a mile away.
