Larry (and Lonnie) surprised me with cupcakes and birthday greeting on the whiteboard. The whiteboard was rather weird but it reminded me of something Bob Nelson or Victor would do, so I warmed my heart. The guys would wish me a good morning, a happy birthday, or thank us/me for leading the group. Often it was all three.
I was on a high when I came home, and it wasn't just the three cupcakes I managed to eat today. (I found some of mom's old birthday candles, lit the candles and took some photos. ha ha.)
