After supper we have plenty of daylight left.
Gene asked, "Do you want to tour the Pipestem Spillway Project?"
"Sure. I'd like to see how it's progressing." I said.
Because the Walt Maas Farm was greatly affect by the Pipestem dam, (It was underwater), Gene has a personal interest in the project(s). Over the years I've spent some time with it too. Mostly hanging around with Gene. I pulled over, "I want to take some photos. It looks like a giant concrete amphitheater. The concrete pour must have taken weeks if not months. That's the federal government.. spare no expense. We drove to the other side.. to the dam.
