Lemers In The Shade

Lemers In The Shade

Lemurs are primitive primates called prosimians. These special groups are found only on the island of Madagascar and neighboring Comoro Islands. There are many species (over 60 taxa) of lemurs ranging in sizes and colors. All look very different from the next. Most of them, however, have long pointy noses responsible for their keen sense of smell. Lemurs also have very good eye-sight, even at night. Their tails are NOT prehensile and used mainly for balance.
Chahinkapa Zoo is home to three species of lemurs: Black and white ruffed, Crowned, Ring-tail. Used perspective masking in Adobe Photoshop.
