The 116th Air Control Wing (116 ACW) is a unit of the Georgia Air National Guard, stationed at Robins Air Force Base, Georgia. In 1986 the 116th retired the last of its Vietnam War Phantoms and received F-15A Eagle air superiority fighters. The 128th flew the F-15 for the next ten years. The 116th Tactical Fighter Wing developed an impressive record of accomplishment and was awarded nine Air Force Outstanding Unit Awards.-wiki
