NDSU vs USD 52 to 24
First Half
The Bison scored on their first four drives of the game. RB #22 TaMerik Williams had a one-yard TD to start the scoring bonanza. (62 yards, 12 plays) WR #11 Phoenix Sproles scored on a 75-yard reception on the first play of their next drive. I was changing lenses at the time. Unfortunately the camera didn't like the lens; so I missed photographing his run down the sidelines and the celebration in the endzone.
LB #52 Jackson Hankey recovered a USD fumble. QB #07 Cam Miller scored on an 8-yard run. Watson made it 28-0 with a one play, 43-yard run off a reverse. The 'Coyotes' kicked a 25-yard field goal. The USD defense were able to get two fumbles in a row.. this at the USD 10-yard line.

Second Half
The USD defense force a Three-and-Out. Then Carter Bell returned an NDSU punt 47 yards for a Touchdown. Suddenly the 'Yotes were playing better. NDSU settled for a 30-yard field goal by senior #37 Jake Reinholz. (a Holding penalty negated a 20-yard Sproles Touchdown.) Punter #27 Kaedin Steindorf pulled off a fake punt for 18 yards and a First Down. Williams had another Touchdown run. (55-yards, 9 plays) Safety #02 Dawson Weber almost had an interception, but it bounced off his gloves into the hands of Mike Mansaray for a Coyote Touchdown. RB #21 Jalen Bussey had a nice 20-yard Touchdown run, and RB #04 Kobe Johnson followed with a 2-yard Touchdown. NDSU was playing 2nd and 3rd string players, so USD was able to get TE JJ Galbreath in the the end-zone. The Bison burn up the clock and take the 2021 MVFC Conference Title outright by winning 52-24.
