St. Peter and Paul Church, Eisleben, DE.
For Martin Luther, his baptism is the most important event of his life that connects him to Eisleben. Hans and Margarete Luder follow the custom of their imte: their son, born shortly before midnight on November 10, 1483, is baptized on the flowing day in the local parish church, St. Peter. The child is named Martin after the patron saint of the day. -museum plaque
