King Johann sculpture by Johannes Schilling (1828-1910). Kšnig Johann von Sachsen, King John of Saxony 1801-1873, An equestrian statue on a socle with bronze reliefs on all sides. The socle exists of a wide lower part, with torches on each corner, and a smaller upper part. Around the wide lower part is a bronze relief frieze with among others on the east side, left part, depictions of trade and transport (as mining, metallurgy, trade in raw products, book trade and photography). -wiki
